MEASE - Marketing with Ease

Merriam-Webster defines mease as “to make calm: pacify, mitigate.”

And that's quite close to how I see marketing.

I believe marketing becomes easier when there's clarity about who you are as a business, what you're trying to achieve and how everything fits together.

I created Mease because I've seen how easily marketing can become overwhelming. There are always more things to try, more platforms to be on, more campaigns to run and more advice telling you what you should be doing.

But trying to do everything at once doesn't necessarily get you anywhere.

Sometimes what a business really needs is a fresh perspective, a structured review of what's already happening, clearly defined goals and, perhaps most importantly, a decision about what not to do.

I don't see marketing as simply creative promotion. I see it as a system — one that needs to work alongside the rest of the business, rather than in isolation.

When marketing has a clear purpose, supports the business's direction and works with the people and processes behind it, it has a much better chance of delivering meaningful results.

The goal isn't to make marketing effortless. It's to make it clearer, more manageable and more purposeful.

That's what Mease is about.

Making marketing work as part of your business, not apart from it.

About me

A woman with shoulder-length brown hair and a smile, standing indoors with a plant in the background, wearing a beige blazer over a black top.

I'm Anna.

I have a Bachelor of Marketing and Business from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and I've spent much of my professional life working in marketing across different industries and businesses.

My experience has taken me from B2B businesses in healthcare and hair and beauty to media, e-commerce and manufacturing.

Along the way, I've worked on everything from developing and launching new products to websites, email marketing, advertising campaigns, exhibitions, events and customer loyalty programs.

I've also experienced business from the other side of the desk.

While on maternity leave, I started my own online retail business. I sourced products from overseas, navigated importing and customs, managed packaging and built and operated my own online store.

It gave me a different perspective on what it takes to run a business — and how many decisions and responsibilities sit behind what customers eventually see.

More recently, my work has involved managing marketing across a wide range of activities, from strategy and digital advertising to websites, content, reporting and campaign coordination.

What I've learned is that marketing rarely works well when it's treated as a collection of separate activities.

A good campaign needs more than an attractive message. A website needs to do more than look beautiful. And being busy with marketing doesn't necessarily mean it's contributing to the business.

I enjoy bringing those pieces together, understanding what matters and finding practical ways to make marketing more focused, organised and effective.

That's the thinking behind Mease.

Let's work together
